Complaint / Review
The Hartford Insurance Co. & March U. S Consume
Consumer Report

I was billed for a disability premium months before which i paid.
When i filled a claim in january the claim was was rejected
because i was over 70 years old. The billing was sent to me when
i already was over 70 years old. Hartford denied benefits because
the billing (marsh U.S. Consumer) company set the program up to
specificly to my statement. The hartford denied benefits. I engaged
an attorney and benefits were still refused. The hartford sent a
refund check of premium which i returned to them.
The picture of this situation is that had i not made a claim for
benefits, the hartford would have kept my money.
If i new i was not covered for disability benefits because i was 70 yrs
i would have not sent them a check. The point i am stressing is
no billing statement, no pay payment.
A renewal statement is a statement of a privledge to purchase coverage.
I did not request benefits to be paid by marsh U.S. Consumer.
I believe there are wrong doings go on with the billing methods
the hartford and marsh U.S. Consumer to seniors and the community.
