I was also told to call 877-256-7894 to get more info. About what I may have won in prizes. This was December 13. When I spoke to the gentleman, who identified himself as "Paul" of the Prize Claims Center of Overland Park, KS, he asked me if I was a U.S. Citizen, 21 or older, and if I was married or at least living with someone. These appeared to be the "rules" of the "game". I said yes to all three as it seemed harmless enough.
I was asked to verify my address, which HE said first— I didn't tell him, he told ME my correct address and I just said yes, it was correct.
Then he proceeded to tell me that me and my man, Carl W. Had definitely won ONE of these choices: 1.) 2004 Lexus SUV or 2004 Chevy Tahoe (taxes must be paid by us winners) or $30,000; 2.) $25,000; 3.) 27" Flat-Screen Panasonic Color TV. He furthered stated that we would be notified by registered letter by Dec. 18th to let us know which one we had really won. The 18th of Dec. Came and went and no letter! We were too busy with our holiday plans to deal with it right away, which I think they counted on. Well, when we got back from our holiday trip, I decided to try and call the same number again, to see what was the matter and was kept on hold until I heard absolute silence on the line—no music, recording, anything. I was smart enough to realize that I had probably been conveniently hung up on! What b@$%@rds!!!
