I received a letter today from a Appleby Financial Services and a check from A & J Produce Corp, 135-144 N.Y.C. TERMINAL MARKET, Bronx, NY 10474 for the amount of 3,990.00 was enclosed. The letter stated that I had won a MEGA LOTTERY conducted in the UK as they hosted the drawing this year and I was 1 of the 19 lucky winners. It explained that the check was for the taxes on my winnings of $150,000.00. And not to cash the check until I had called a Lloyd Lewis. And that a copy of said letter with my name would be filed in their corporate facilty by a Lyne Wackley where all such records are kept. I have thought about calling A & J Produce Corp and they are listed at the address on the check to see if they know about this. This is totally against the law. A lot of us nowadays are struggling financially and I just hope someone that is in dire straits doesn't fall for this. I never entered a Mega Lottery. But if you find out this is legitimate tell them I want my money. 19 winners and already 8 have filed a complaint. What are the odds of that? I appreciate your attention to yet another SCAM.
