I noticed 3 separate charges on credit card statement. One for $1.95, $9.95 and finally the $33.20. I called the 406 961-1300 number on my statement and reached a rude unhelpful representative. When I asked her how this was authorized she stated that they called me and I gave them cc info on the phone. All she kept repeating was that I gave security code on back of card to them. I said that I did not know how this happened but know I was out of state that date and remember that I did not receive such a call and i would love to hear the recording of it in order to verify it is me. However, regardless of whether I did or did not I asked her then to cancel, She claimed it had already been sent to the magazines for processing and nothing could be done but that she would gladly remove the other 2 charges of $9.95 and $1.95 and I will be obligated to pay the $33.20 for the entire year. She was absolutely one of the rudest reps I have spoken with in quite some time. So I advised her that she would only get one charge from me at most that I was cancelling my credit card. I hate to cancel this card however I cannot and will not allow these scammers to get one more cent from me. I am so absolutely tired of this type of thing happening. I cannot understand the desire to take money from those of us who work for it. She repeated to me multiple times how I was disabled as if that proved once and for all that I did in facr approve this charge. I told her all it proved was how they are low lives willing to take money from a disabled school teacher. I hope something can be done to these people. I really am tired of the good people getting screwed while those who are screwing us get away with it. I have half a mind to visit MT and see if they change their minds about a refund in person.
