Oven dome cracked top to bottom while in use no one touched it, I think it was defective. Called service department. I was told when I purchased the warranty was for 3 years. The service department said sorry it was only 1 year warranty. There were 2 dome replacements available 1 was $25.00 standard replacement. The other unbreakable replacement was $49.95. I asked if they heard of these domes breaking before and is that the reason for the new improved dome? The answer was I don't know I am just an employee, was the reply. I think they should cover the replacement of an obviously defective part instead passing the expense on to their customers. I purchased the unbreakable dome and was told it would take 7-10 business days to ship. I asked if I could choose the shipping company since I'm paying for the shipping I thought I could expedite. I was told no the customer can't choose the shipping company under any circumstances. What kind of service is that? I had to buy the dome because the oven is useless without it. I voiced my dissatisfaction of unprofessionalism, nothing personal but poor service. The employee seemed uncaring and indifferent, even after reminding her the call was being monitored for quality.
