I had no financial damage or loss through this company but thought it may be worth to share my experience with them and what I found out about that "company". Same as other people who have been submitted complaints about salesavo.com I too found out, not one of the items listed on salesavo.com could really be purchased through that website.in my opinion and as an online retailer myself, the site has the word Phishing written all over it. Some of the item prices are just too good too be true and we all know what that means. The site is only intend to collect customers information like your email address and Paypal account info. Those information are collected and sold as lists to dubious marketing companies that fill your email account/s with SPAM.
I tested salesavo.com by showing interest in purchasing an Made is USA item that was listed at a price of only 1/6 of the regular sales price found online or in brick and mortar stores for the exactly same product. 1/6 - that is usually less than wholesale price or factory direct buy (imported merchandise from China excluded). Once I entered (precautionary) a fake email at check out I got told there is a problem with Paypal and the merchant's account who I was going to purchase the item from. Wow, Paypal having a problem with a merchant's Paypal account is never a good sign.
Also, I tried to contact the company via their [email protected] email address, asking a few questions regarding payment options other than Paypal, if a personal pick up of the item was possible and if the item really was new and under factory warranty but have to this date never gotten any response. Now if a company does really want to do (legit) business and does want to make money through selling merchandise, wouldn't they at least get back with their customers and answer a few simple questions or is Mr Jon B. From Glendale WI too busy sending out scam mails and posting fake posts in forums about what great deals He has landed by buying from salesavo.com? Hey Jon, since you obviously don't check your own website emails, how about me sending you some email to JonB*r@Y*.com?
Guys, stay away from website offering too good to be true prices is all I can suggest.
And, I wished websites like salesavo.com would never show up on Google.com and items from sites like that never be listed in Google Shopping! Google watches over the internet but obviously in this case with closed eyes.
