An agent known as David G called and sold us a package for helping unsung heroes (police, veterans, fire fighters, soldiers etc) by promoting a holiday & discounts website that would help promote our vacation rentals business. We signed up yesterday 26.4.13 and gave our credit card number. They sent paperwork for us to sign but some of the information was incorrect so I called the 3 numbers given:
1- 407 956 5363 (the salesman) - 1-888 234 1134 (Customer Services) and The Perfect Rentals hotline 1- 954 707 5573... All 3 numbers had automated answerphones with a message to say "Leave your number and we will get back to you". I have been phoning since 8am - 1pm and have also written to all the e-mail addresses:
[email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and not had a reply as QUICKLY as I had my PAID INVOICE.
They quoted ALEXA for high web site tracking and a video of a veteran returning from IRAQ to join his family with the help of this "Rewards for Heroes" website established since 1998.
I think it is disgraceful that these people are using injured and dead heroes to scam others. They even asked if you wanted to donate to a fund for those that died in the recent Boston bombings.
