FindtheCompany
Consumer Report

About Oct I Googled my name. I found I had a webpage posted about me on FindtheCompany. It said I had a business, but I don't. It displayed my cell phone number and my address. It says my (imaginary) company brings in over $120,000.00 per year (estimated data), and 0-10 employees (estimated data). They sell financial reports on the companies they post on their website. My question is, how can they sell a financial report about my company that doesn't exist. Isn't that fraud or something? For months I tried to have them remove the web page about me that was posted without my consent. As far as they are concerned, there isn't anything you can do to defend yourself. Anyone trying to contact them knows the frustration level you can feel. I found that Dun and Bradstreet also had a web page posted about me. They ignored my requests to have the webpage removed. Months and months later, I contacted the Better Business Bureau local to Dun and Bradstreet. Coincidentally, a couple days later, a representative from Dun and Bradstreet contacted me. She said she'd investigate and decide whether or not I had a business. She contacted me about a week later and said she had the webpage removed. I tried over and over to contact FindtheCompany and let them know that I took care of the Dun and Bradstreet webpage and now FindtheCompany can remove the webpage they posted about me. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Santa Barbara, CA (at that time they had an F rating with the BBB). Eventually, FindtheCompany removed my webpage. A few months later, I Googled my name and FindtheCompany has reposed the webpage about me. Dun and Bradstreet has not reposed the webpage about me, so when FindtheBest says you need to have the Dun and Bradstreet webpage removed first, don't believe it. It's a lie. Danny Seigle is the operations officer of FindtheBest / FindtheCompany. He played a part in the FindtheCompany reposting recently. Don't ask me how I know, I just do. He has a brother, David Seigle, that works as a programmer for FindtheBest / FindtheCompany. You can google their names and you'll find all kinds of websites about them. When I get their home addresses and personal phone numbers, I'll return the favor and post for all to see. Those of us that were done wrong by FindtheBest / FindtheCompany can give them a taste of their own medicine. We need to tell our story all over the internet.
