Dear Sir or Madam,

We purchased a used 2006 MDX late Nov. from Acura at Oxmoor in Louisville, KY. Mileage at purchase approx. 72k. Prior to purchase, Sales Associate and Sales Manager informed us that the vehicle had been thoroughly examined by their service technicians and that the vehicle was determined by them to be in superior mechanical condition. They provided some documentation to substantiate this. Immediately after purchase, several obvious service oversights and mechanical flaws became apparent. The most compelling mechanical issues were in regard to the drive train. Dealer mechanics and Sales Dept. Are at loggerheads regarding how to resolve. We have a 3rd party warranty with CNA, which we purchased when we bought the vehicle. Recently the dealer has had our automobile for nearly one month to ostensibly replace flawed transmission which they tell us is covered by the CNA warranty. Rear Differential was replaced under warranty 2/4 with no resolution to original complaint. Since purchasing the vehicle in late November the vehicle has been at the dealer shop nearly 9 weeks. We have had extremely poor/absent/evasive communication from the dealer and phone calls have not been returned as would be expected of a legitimate professional business. We have had to physically visit the dealership on 5 occasions just to obtain basic information when phone calls were not returned. When we do actually speak to personnel, we get a different story each time. Shop Foreman has told us the vehicle was on the rack being repaired, when we see it sitting in the dealer parking lot on 2 occasions. General Manager has been informed of details on 3 occasions in person, with no resolution in sight. This is definite fraud and an extremely poor representation of your brand and product line. Other vehicles we own currently, MB E320, Cadillac STS and Toyota Highlander.in comparison, this is the most frustrating and disappointing vehicle purchase we have ever made to date, (estimated 24 vehicle purchases over the past 35 years), including a rusted out 1967 VW Beetle with no rear window, purchased in 1979. At least that vehicle ran reliably and the dealer service department, Neil Huffman VW, was always reliable and honest. What the hell has happened to this company?
