Pop-up from Norton (I have Norton 360) stating I had a speed and driver problem. For $4.99 I would get instructions to fix it or I could call 888 #, which I did. "Nero" got on line and stated for $19.99 a Norton Live REP would get on my computer and fix it for me. I authorized the $19.99 charge on m Visa, and "Trevor" took control of my computer and I then filled out a survey (complimentary I might add). Later the same day Norton sent me the "invoice" showing a $89.98 charge to my Visa.
Spent the rest of 4-3 and most of 4-4, spoke to at least 16 REPS, asking that the "for quality assurance" tape to be reviewed and the extra $69.99 be refunded immediately to my Visa, as that figure was never mentioned to me by NERO nor did I AUTHORIZE that expense.
I'm finished dealing with NORTON, in any capacity! Will find reputable security software when my Norton 360 runs. Out. Now I just hope I won't be charged the recurring $19.99 a month fee!!!
