I was rung up by a guy with an American accent of some kind. He said that he worked for a company called Zoomwebmedia and that they could get my company on the front page of google for $449 but i'd only have to pay $150 up front, then they'd send me a rough of the website then I was to send them more money, then pay them up at the end when it was finished. I said I wanted time to think about it so he put me onto his boss who when i said i wanted time to think about it made me another offer - i only needed to pay $100 up front, cos I was poor, and then offered to put an ad on Facebook as well, but I continued to say I needed time to think about it. While she was talking I googled Zoomwebmedia and scam and found a few things on this site that didnt say zoomwebmedia, but said another kind of webmedia but the price was the same and the story was similar, then I googled zoomwebmedia and hoax and got the Ask website which had 3 stories on it of how people had lost money to them. I gave her a false email address and told them my name was spelt differently and said yeah ring me tomoro.
