I am a college student who booked on-line for discount lodging at Breckenridge. For obvious reasons, I needed to pay as little as possible for 2 nights lodging. I registered for 2 nights @ $156.00 per night. Under the registration, after giving all of my information, was "A 120 minute preview tour of the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is required with this vacation option." I wasn't sure what this was about, so I selected "register". A a few days later I got confirmation through e-mail, again stating the above quote. When I checked out, I was told I would have to pay an additional $420.00 for lodging because I did not qualify as for this price because I did not make $70,000 or higher per year. The disclaimer came AFTER registering which is misleading and I believe, fraudulent. I tried negotiating with them, and they simply said, "We will just charge the debit card used to make the reservations.in others words, "we win-you lose!" I do not have the money in my account to cover this. I foresee all kinds of ramifications.
