A sales inquiry via Alibaba.com to Shenzhen Leaderbang Electronics was apparently stolen and I got a reply from [email protected] offering to supply goods to satisfy my inquiry. This led to the web site http://www.ldgroup-tech.com which looks fairly impressive, so I made and order valued at US$500. Payment was requested by bank TT and to an account in the name of Bin Xiao.insted of the goods ordered I received a small box of plastic scrap.
Now Alibaba have a complaint process that I followed and in quick order the good guys at Shenzhen Leaderbang followed up and bless them, refunded me US$500.
I am concerned however that the rogue site still operates and somewhere along the line they will be sniffing other enquiries and defrauding more people
