I was alarmed to find a $139.95 charge on my Master card bill that I knew nothing about.
The only time I had given out my credit card number over the phone or on-line in the previous two months was when I ordered a special paint roller through an infomerical. A month after I requested the roller they notified me it was no longer available and I wasn't charged. I wasn't charged for the roller, but I was charged for something called AP9 connections.
I remember telling the telemarker I would look at some? Services for something called Simple Escapes in exchange for a free gift certificate to Walmart, and all I had to do was cancel in 30 days.
I never received anything in the mail and I certainly never authorized $140 payment.
I contacted my credit card company immediately and the charge will be removed, but I am outraged and want to warn everyone about AP9 Connections aka Simple Escapes (whatever they are)!
