About three weeks ago i recieved a scratc-off game card from SILVA FORD. I thaught i was a winner. It said to come and claim my for sure prize. They tried putting me into two different funny looking vans that i did not like at all. Finally, the owner, SILVA came out and asked "what car do you want?"I chose an 2006 CHEVY MALIBU SS MAX. They started my farmers insurance, no payments for 45 days and with no money down. They also gave me a $500 gift card to shop online but i couldn't get it to work. We did our contract and i left there with the car. Approx. 2.5 weeks later they began calling every day for about 2-3 days, saying that they need to redo the smog in order to get the plates done. I was in the hospital getting a surgery done to remove cancer so my husband James Knaules took the car to get the smog done. After 30-40 minutes, he noticed that our car was nowhere to be seen. Then Shaun Keenan approached him and said we need to talk. Basically saying the they had no bank to finance me for the car and asked him if he needed a ride home. Well yes but home first with a garbage bag full of belongings that we had in the car plus things we baught for the car and then back to the hospital where James was always by my side. So Shaun Keenan had my car parked/hidden from me and he said he would work something out but NEVER CALLED AT ALL after almost a week. The sales reps never even asked me for documents to prove my income or any paperwork showing anything. No copies. No nothing! I'm sure thats not my fault. It's there busines to get it from me. After all, i'm thinking i'm a prize winner in this deal. So after getting out of the hospital sunday, monday i went to the car lot with all of my proof of income which they never asked me for before i drove away. Around March 25th, i even recieved a call from the finance company, congradulating me for getting the car with SILVA FORD and that the deal was done. As of today, still no response from anyone. I also talked to a man named Jason. He never got back to me but he was the one who copied all of my income to see if there was something he could do a "SECOND"time. I don't know what they told the finance company the first day to make the contract go through but i did my part to bring all my proof to be copied by Jason in an attempt to fix this mess and i never lied to them. I really love the car and it waS WRONGFULLY TOOK FROM MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. Would you consider me being in FAULT in my contract? This is a big embarrasment to me and they could'nt have have taken a car at any worse time. (in the middle of a cancer surgery)
