I saw their ad in a local newspaper and contactd them back in august. I had already found a house and they said we were approved but needed to send $5,000 as a down payment. They never could offer enough for the house, so we found another house, foreclosure, and starting working on it. After a ridiculously low offer that was refused, they offered the asking price which was accepted. They wanted another $3,000 additional downpayment, but i only sent $1,000 and told them i would give them the rest when we actually had a closed agreement. They then did nothing so the house went to auction. Again, they said they would offer a bid but didn't. They now sent in another low ball offer, but have yet to provide the necessary proof of funds letter the real estate agent needs to submit the bid. Everyday, they tell me they will get it done. I really want this house, it's a great buy, but it is clear now, this won't happen. I will give them until the end of february, then i want my money back!!! All of it, they haven't had to spend any of it. I rec'd a call from a former employee of theirs that told me this was a scam but of course, they said it was just an angry employee that had been let go!!! We must all be stupid, stupid, stupid to have ever believed these con artists!!! Help, fbi or ny state attorneys office?
