I have been having financial problems and applied for a loan online. I was approved and sent a contract. They asked me to wire payment up front (stupid of me to do it) but I did do it. They were supposed to deposit the money by midnight. Today, 2/14, no money has been deposited and they now called me and told me that the money was wired to Canada and that there are taxes due and the money is on hold. They want me to pay an additional $735, which I won't be paying. I have asked for a refund but they told me it would take weeks. I don't believe they will refund me anything. I feel stupid and taken.
