I paid $69.35 for TV Guide Subscription on 8/1. I later learned from TV Guide the amount had not been sent. After numerous attempts to reach someone I finally spoke to someone who said it could as long as 12 weeks for the actual transaction to be completed. Of course nothing happened. I called again and was assured the transaction would occur soon. I am afraid I waited too long to stop payment on the check. My bank tells me the check cleared with a "for deposit only on the check and they could not help. To this date the amount has not been sent to TV Guide. I am now unable to reach anyone. The response is to hold the line and someone will take the call. After a long period of time on hold no one is available to take the call. What is my recourse? Can you help?
