Adrian Morrison - Social Media Profits From Home
Consumer Report

Adrian Morrison is seen on the Cable TV guide channel selling his book "Social Media Profits from Home". He claims an extremely easy and fool-proof way to make lots of money on your home computer using social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) as your platform. He claims he made $200,000 on Facebook alone in one month. He also claims it is easy, it can be started right away, there is little or no money needed to get started, and anyone can do it. He distincly explains in the commercial on TV that there is no need to create Facebook pages or have Facebook friends, nor does one ever need to start a Twitter account. He never mentions the need to have your own website. You just go home, sit in front of your computer, click the mouse, and wads of cash suddenly start pouring out. The continuous talk of Facebook being the "new goldmine" was the high attraction of his convincing commercial.

I got on the phone and purchased the book, then had to listen for almost an hour's worth of sales pitches on how I should buy other things (like counselling, software and the like) before my sale finally went through. I recieved the books in about two weeks. After reading them, I was shocked to see everything written in the book did NOT agree with what Adrian said in the commercial. The books explain a whole another story - affiliate marketing requires you have a website, and one must pay Facebook for posting ads (you have to pay for each click on the ad). Affiliate marketing is actually not easy to break into and is highly competitive. You have to own an ample enough website to qualify.

I wrote a message to the e-mail address of the company (which they provided along with the books sent to me). I wrote a full description of the descrepancies in the book. I posed to them this question - "Where in the books does Adrian explain exactly what he was saying on his commercial - that you can start this home business right away, with no money, with little knowledge, and without having to build any pages of any sort on the internet or on social media?"

They answered me back by saying "this question is too technical for us to answer. Please call our customer service number."

So I called the number and had a long conversation with the representative. All he kept saying was, "thank you for your feedback. I will pass what you are saying on to the management." I posed the same question I had asked in my e-mail over and over to the representative, pointing out all the contradictions I read in the book, but he could not answer me.

I wrote the e-mail address back and said that I am passing Adrian Morrison off as another scam artist. I recieved no answer from them at all since then.

I am grieved because this guy is getting rich off of poor people's need for income, as the economy is still bad and people are still losing their jobs. He needs to be taken off the air immediately and his books laid to rest in the nearest dusky library.

Don't let him continue to fool and scam people in order to fill his pockets and laugh all the way to the bank!
