I was selling a car, when Alex W Banks contacted us via email. Alex W Banks would only contact us through email. Claimed he was offshore (15 days on / 15 days off). Only had access to contact us via Internet. His emails were sent with a link to his LinkedIn account to make him look legit. Also claimed to want to make the transaction ASAP because it was a gift for his dad in Idaho. He was only willing to pay via PayPal. I had a gut feeling that this was a scam from the get go. Some of the emails weren't grammatically correct, especially for such a well educated Oceanographer with the NOOA. I googled his name and found this site. Don't do a transact with Alex (Alexander) W Banks!!
