I got a letter in the mail from a company claiming that I have been pre-approved for a grant that I requested. The letter looked official and said: "Status: Approved guaranteed disbursement within 10 to 15 business days!"
Yes, I have applied for grants online and actually talked with a women. Gave her my information so when I got this letter I thought. Wow, I thought I got scammed" Little did I know I really did. These people need to be stopped. They are using the government as means to scam people by using their name. This letter was signed by James S. Williams Sr. President, Award Notifications. They gave me a Transaction File No. 201202759. The government should stop these people and make sure that everyone that was scammed by them, get there money back. Especially seeing how they are using the governments name to work their scam.
