On 12-28-12 at 9;51 pm I came across this add on craigslist (btdtz-3507601487@comm. Craigslist.org) about a baby face Bengal kitten for sale for $150.00. I fell in love with it immediately! I responded to the add right away, I heard back from the owner at 10:37 pm Dec 28 (jax lai) or (Anita Ngelo) via email. She told me details about the kitten (lulu) and sent me pictures. She told me she was in Helena MT, for a 3 month auditing assignment and she has no time for the kitten. She told me she could have it shipped to me threw a delivery agency called worldwide petsshippers. (management Mark Spencer) Of Corse I was excited to have such a beautiful kitten like that one, so I agreed. 12-29-12 We then started talking threw text, (1-661-468-9410 and this #1111440601 I was given specific instructions how to go about payment. I went to western union and wired her $150.00 immediately. Now I had never used a western union ever in my life so I was asking the woman that was taking my order questions and telling her what I was doing, she's the one who first put the idea in my head that it could be a scam! (I REALLY WISHED I LISTENED TO HER) I was then told I would receive the kitten the next morning 12-30-12 (from MT) at 7:45 am. I had been getting professional email from the worldwide petsshippers conformimg my registration! They even sent me a picture of a certificate of new ownership with my name on it. I believed every word they were saying! I was so excited that I must have thanked the woman like 400 times! 7:45 came and went and I got nothing, I was so disappointed! I started texting her around 8:08 am, (I had being scammed in the back of my head so I got a little feisty with her) I heard back from her at 1:11 pm and she told me via text that her father was in the hospital. When I checked her email she had said she was in the office all day! My red flags are sky high now. She told me that the weather was the reason for the delay and to be patient. Later that day I told her I was going to contact the main branch to the company they shipped from. I finally heard back from her the next morning (Dec 31) at 9:19 am, telling me that the delivery agency needs more money ($250.00) for a 'auto-regulatory crate or a electronic ventilated crate' that will maintain the temperature of the kitten! I got the same email from the saposive company with pictures of crates in a warehouse. They told me that I would get a full refund at the time the kitten arrives at my door! Im to make the payment to: AKWEDERICK TAMBA COUNTRY: CAMEROON STATE: DOUALA CITY: VICTORIA ZIP: 00237 TEST QUESTION: WHAT FOR? ANSWER: CRATE CUSTOMER consulting services: Mrs. Clarkson Packer http://petsfly.com I told the owner of the kitten that i refused to pay another cent more and that if i didn't get the kitten or my money by Friday the 4th that i would take action and report her to the international authority's. (if theirs any such thing) We went back and forth via text and as many times as I told her that I wasn't paying another dime she just kept trying to get me to pay. I told her that she had quoted me the $150 and I wasn't paying a cent more. If there was a problem with the delivery service that its not my problem. She then told me she would borrow $150 and all I had to pay was the remaining balance of $100, I told her its her responsibility to get the kitten to me! She tried putting me on a guilt trip and every thing. I even told her that I have someone investigating the situation. That if the company was legit that it would have insurance. She just kept pulling at straws. She even referred to the kitten as a puppy at one point and when I called her on it she ignored my sarcastic comment! So that's my story, nothing like this has EVER happen to me before. I've got people on my back telling me that Im an idiot for falling for it to begin with, BUT in my defense it looked real to me everything was professional looking and they had sent me pictures of stuff proving themselves. I never knew a scam could look so real! Please get back to me a.S.A.P. Preferably over the phone for any other questions. Im told ill never see that money again (live and learn) but I really want that site shut down and those people tossed into the trash! Or the kitten!!! Thank you, diana billington
