Shon Ray Steele, aka Ricky or Rick Steele (his deceased brothers name) is ordered to pay $616 a month in child support. He has never made a full months payment.
As of today he is in arrears in the amount of $11,832.72. Every time the Oregon Child Support Division obtains information about his place of employment he quits his job, then lives off of unemployment for as long as possible. He often works under the table doing residential and/or commercial painting. He also was attending Clackamas Community College and working on some sort of HVAC certification so he may be working under the table in this industry also.
The last location for Shon Ray Steele that I have is in Molalla, Oregon. He moved into his parents old place this way he could have a house without having to put it in his name. I am amazed that he can afford internet, cable TV, cell service, along with fixing up a house and all of the usual utilities and still not be able to pay child support.
He used to see his daughter regularly, then slowly started making excuses to miss his visitations and then not wanting to make them up. The last time I spoke to him, about a year ago, he wanted to know if I could drop all future child support and arrears in exchange for him signing over all of his parental rights. I was only able to respond by leaving him a message saying that I didn't agree. I haven't heard from him since.
