Here is the email I sent to freelancer.com below with full proof and evidence of them having allowed me to be ripped off from an employer through their website and them not enforcing the same rules they make for everyone else which is that no one is granted a refund for milestone payments and deposits made for a company providing services uless it is done through the dispute system and arbitration however they never let it be disputed. I completed first part of services for project employer through their company hired me for and paid freelancer to give to me but than employer filed a fake dispute against freelancer saying they did not authorize for the $125 they owed me to be given as a milestone for services I completed when in fact the employer knew this was the fee to be paid for all services completed and was under a billing agreement with freelancer for verified services I completed. Rather than freelancer allowing it to be disputed they ripped me off after having done all this work for employer, did not notify me and gave the employer a refund without notifying me till after I hounded them down to find out what happened to money I was owed. Look at email below I addressed to them but still have not gotten a response from them to resolve what happened below, not to mention they are now denying that the employer ever created a milestone payment for me which is untrue due to the fact that a prior representative emails me and says he clearly sees where a milestone was created for the job employer hired me to do through freelancer but than lied, filed a fake dispute, and freelancer allowed the reversal of funds without notifying me:

Hi, Alaister I am going to calmly try to re-explain to you what I have been trying to explain to the first level of customer service for weeks now and if you look at these messages below that I am including which were conversations exchanged between both Andre the Employer and I bidder whom finished the entire first half of work for her project you will hopefully get a clearer picture, as well as the message sent to me from one of your lower representatives basically confirming what I am saying which is that Andre the employer hired me on November 28th through freelance a few hour earlier to complete the first half project for her doing over $128.00 worth of marketing for her and than that very same day without me knowing or from what receipts have been sent to me by employer Andre she purposely intended to scam and rip off by calling pay pal to file a dispute against freelancer lieing and saying freelancer took unauthorized funds from her pay pal to create a milestone payment for me of $128.00 for services she was already benefiting from and had received from me and have proof of in messages exchanged through freelancer, no contact phone numbers were given where I would have been communicating with her off freelancer for your company to say you can not clearly see what I am explaining to freelancer is the truth, everything lies in those messages I am going to include for you to see but basically once she called pay pal and filed a fake dispute against freelancer saying she unauthorized for freelancer to take funds from her pay pal to create a milestone payment for work I had already completed, someone in freelancer`s customer service department issued her a full refund for the milestone payment which the receipt she sent me clearly shows while I had already completed services for the project, it shows freelancer issued it on December 12 if you look at the receipt headers and message the employer Andre sent me through freelancer. Now regardless I as a member of freelancer have always been told there are no refunds for things like milestone payments or arbitration fees by the first level of customer service at freelancer so if this is the case than I am very upset because Andre was indeed granted a refund as it shows by a freelancer representative while I was working on services and had completed services without me even knowing or having a chance to dispute that she would be receiving funds back for work I had already completed, I was never given an opportunity to elect to let it go to arbitration instead she sneakily just got refunded all the money she had deposited into the milestone back for me by a freelancer representative so in actuallity pay pal has explained to me that what I have now learned could not have been reversed back to Andre without a freelancer representative accepting the refund for her to have funds back because pay pal management has explained to me that pay pal`s system simply does not allow members to reverse the funds they have paid for intended projects just like that, they have to dispute it and file a claim where both in this case as pay pal has clarified the buyer which bought the services and the merchant where the money was sent to for processing into my milestone for work I commpleted which is freelancer would have to either deny or agree that the funds were unauthorized and taken from her by freelancer which would be not true because Andre has a verifed green button on her profile which means she has a billing agreement with freelancer just like any other green verified freelancer members so what I am telling you is that pay pal does not automatically give refunds and you can check with pay pal as well on this, the only way Andre was granted a refund for the milestone payment she made through freelancer for the work I did and than as your other representative put it reversed herself which is untrue because freelancer would have to had agreeded to give the refund as pay pal has clarified with me meaning that freelancer or a representative from freelancer allowed it to be reversed hence ripping me off so basically someone in your department of customer service granted Andre that refund for services I alreadyy completed. There is no other explanation what happened to the money Andre owes me, she was allowed to have the milestne payment reversed because a freelancer representative allowed it and these are not acusations but facts from what pay pal has further told me and the employer who filed the fake dispute, told me she would never pay me for services completed as she was granted a refund by freelancer intentionally therefore ripping me of. If freelancer tells me there are no refunds allowed for arbitration fees or milestone payments than why was Andre given a refund, not just because she filed a fake dispute with pay pal but because freelancer allowed her to have the refund bypassing the arbitration system unallowing me a chance to pay a fee to dispute it because freelancer or one of your representatives had already agreed to give her the money back because pay pal does not automatically refund anyone and I know this for a fact because I have had disputes filed that pay pal followed the same policy where each the buyer and merchant have to correspond giving evidence of why it was unauthorized. The employer intentionally filed the fake dispute against freelancer to rip me off and I have sent her hundreds of messages through freelancer confronting her to which she than said I am glad you got the facts straight, I am never paying you. If freelancer representative had not agreed with pay pal to have the payment reversed I would have had a chance to dispute and would not have been ripped off. This is not just soley about freelancer not being able to control a freelancer employers intentions but rather about what goes for one member on getting refunds should go for all members and this has not been being enforced. I was told by a freelancer employee no refund now she gets one and off of a fake dispute. Just to also let you know Andre has alot more worse things coming to her this loan bank company she was advertising through freelancer to hire employees for does not even truly belong to her, as she does not have full rights which no one who she hires could ever know as she is a new company with no refunds. The only way I found out is by contacting third party company`s so she now has an open case with police on her and the fact that freelancer allowed her to have a refund with out notifiying through arbitration or dispute system freelancer says was built to handle things like this but never went into affect in my situation is reason for me enough to add as evidence that I was ripped off by both her and freelancer. I have the receipt evidence, I have talked to pay pal, and have been in contact with one of your representatives. Again there is no way Andre was granted an automatic refund for my milestone payment without freelancers consent and furthermore I was lied to by one of your representatives so until this is resolved and Andre`s is not allowed to continue to advertise through freelancer and rip more people off and I am given some type of refund like she was I will press charges. I have explained multiple times to freelancer what took place and nothing was ever done. I have been treated unfairly as a member and this is the holidays. I also have medical bills to pay. I should not have to go through all of this. Hopefully you can resolve this but below are the messages and emails:

I have thoroughly gone through both 'Andre1122' and your account where I clearly saw that the Milestone Payment for $125.00 (after conversion) deposited on 6:06: 09 Nov 28 EST that they claim that we have taken was reversed back to 'Andre1122' account after they have requested it on the same day at 6:06: 09 Nov 28 EST and was refunded to 'Andre1122' on 12/04 at 21:47 EST.

I can understand how frustrating this can be, however, as what my colleagues have explained before, your employer did deposited funds to their account as their Milestone Payment to you, however, they themselves reversed it through Paypal which led to their account being limited.

I would like to assure you that Freelancer.com takes security very seriously and we make it a point to take care of hard working users like yourself from being scammed or taken advantaged off which is why your employer is currently being investigated to find out the reason why they reversed the deposit that they have made as their payment to you.

In the meantime, although I'm well aware that you have been in contact with your employer regarding this issue, I would still suggest to continue to contact your employer and tell them to get in contact with our Verification Center to settle their account issues.

Lesson: when you are working for someone, do not piss them off and read the correspondence with some sort of concentration
