I was caught in scam in sept, two free samples from sylkskin and vitalyse, which never arrived, but i only lost a small amount for postage. However they started raiding my card a few weeks later for the £ equivalent of $98.78 each time. I was hit three times before I got my statement. There was NO sign up for a subscription, i did not receive anything and all efforts to contact the companies failed. It was a joint promotion and obviously it's the same people. My card company has has blocked any further payments and refunded two of the three they took.
I just looked at this months statement and similar amounts have again been taken out, twice in the last three days, by companies called CraveHB and DailyGFit. Ive never heard of them and DEFINITELY havent shopped on line with my card in the last few days. I reckon it's the same charlatans as before, who, having been the subject of so many disputed and blocked payments, are using our details to continue robbing us but under a different name!
The only way to stop them popping up again and raiding your funds under a different name is to cancel your cards. It's inconvenient I know but once they have your details I fear you'll be forever in this cycle.
