I recently set up a free account with playlist.com.in the process, neatly embedded into the registration as though it were from playlist.com, was a request for my cellphone number so that a confirmation text could be sent. I subsequently received 3 texts, foolishly did not read any of them, and when getting my next August AT&T cell bill, two of the scam companies had charged my account 9.99 each, plus tax. They were aladdinwishgrantednow.com and predicto.com. The third scam was a text from playphone, and I have not been charged by them as of yet. Thank you for your time. PS: I went to aladdin and predicto online and unregistered from them. I am about to go to playphone and do the same. I am also going to complain to AT&T about participating in such a scam. I doubt if playlist will do anything about a complaint, since I am convinced they are part of the scam and making money from it.
