More scam 'news' sites! They are EVERYWHERE! People have caught on to the "mom" that lost weight totally "free", so scammers have moved on to a new angle-Fake news sites. They all come complete with a story written by a "skeptical reporter" who decides to try out these totally FREEEE products, only to find, to her AMAZEMENT, they are truly miracles, in fact WHY would anyone get plastic surgery again? They are like PLASTIC SURGERY IN A BOTTLE!!! Ummm, not quite. These sites are targeted to you at home, needing to lose weight, but not trusting the mom blogs, the scammers are BANKING on u trusting what looks like a news site, complete with a weather forecast. BUT THERE ARE THINGS U CAN DO IF UVE ALREADY FALLEN FOR IT! I will give u exact details on what u can do near the end of the complaitn.
Two sites I came across back to back are ws6newsreports.com and onlinehealthnews7.com. They even put the word NEWS in the url, and have even accidently used the name of real news stations by accident.
Check these blogs out, They are IDENTICAL! Here's an exerpt (onlinenews7 didn't even change the name to news 7, but just left it as news 6, LOL!)

What can you do? There are a few things, for the acai optimum and advanced colon - advanced colon-go to this website www.advcolcs.com. CANCEL ur membership right now! Now, once u submit ur cancelation, before u click submit, look at ur keyboard. U will see a key called prntscrn. Press that button, DO NOT close out the webpage. Open up ur paint program. Go up to edit, click paste. Then go to file, save as, and change the format of the file into a jpeg. Now go and submit ut cancellation. Don't count on a confirmation email! Go again and press the prntscrn and follow the steps again. For acai optimum, go to www.acoptimumcs.com. Follow the steps again to take screenshots of ur cancellation. ALSO for these products (including the same advanced colon for the news 7 site) call 877-825-1528. RECORD THE CALL! Tell them u want BOTH advanced colon and acai optimum canceled right away! This is against the law, and let them know u want to dispute this charge. When they refuse, let them know that u are reporting them to the bbb, the ftc at ftc. Gov, the attorney general and to the fbi at ic3. Gov for violating the law. Don't cuss or yell at them, very calmly tell them all of this while recording it, and then hand that over to ur financial insitution. If you've fallen for any of these, here's what to do - make screenshots of cancellations as described above. Also call and record the calls to these companies. Let them know that u are immediatley canceling any and all memberships, and u expect no further charges or shipments of their products. DEMAND rma numbers to send the products backs. If you HAVE been charged these outrageous amounts, let them know that u want a refund, and u are canceling any other shipments, and u will send the product back. Now, when u send the products back-get the package insured! ALSO get signature confirmation upon delivery. I know it's an extra cost, but i promise they will claim they never received it back so they can keep ur money. Don't let that happen. Give copies of all ur proof to the bank or credit card company, but also keep a copy of each for ur records., let ur banks know u are disputing the charges. Also, please report these criminals to all of the following bbb.org, ftc. Gov, the fbi at ic3. Gov and the attorney general. Complain against false advertisment and billing issues. Tell them they have violated consumer protection laws by charging ur card unauthorized.
After all of this, u may be surprised to get packages at ur door. Now, this is one last desperate attempt by the criminals to get ur money. Go ahead and call the company, recording it of course, and ask them why u received packages AFTER u have canceled the products. If they tell u that u must either pay for it or pay to ship it back, tell them u are not doing either. Tell them under united states LAW, that if a company sends u products after canceling, or sends unordered products, that u may consider it a gift. You have no obligation to pay for it or send it back. If and when u get a letter from a collection agency, tell them u will NOT pay because u have plenty of proof u had long ago canceled their products. Tell them under united states LAW u are under no obligation to pay for or ship back unordered products or canceled products and u may consider it a gift from the company. If they pursue still, tell them u are reporting them to the ftc, the attorney general and the fbi for unlawfully trying to collect on unordered merchandise.
This is a LOT, I know, but understand this is the only way to protect YOUR money and ur credit score.
*Oh, and btw, no these products do not work. Acai was never claimed by any doctor to be a weightloss supplement. It only has antioxidant benefits. You wont lose a pound. Just take a multi vitamin. Also, because these products arent evaluated by the fda, they only have to put one grain of acai in the whole bottle and can list it at the top of ingredients, or not put any in it at all. The worth of the bottles are probably about $1.50 a bottle. Colon cleansing may help u lose weight just because u go to the bathroom. Go spend $5 on a packet of dulcolax and get much better results! Acai is available at walgreens also for $7 a bottle!
