I employed web-guys.co.uk a couple of months ago to design a new website. The total build cost was going to be 1,300. But I decided to pay 150 upfront for the design (glad I didn't pay the full amount). I received the first draft design within about a week. The quality of the site was very basic and just a crappy off the shelf design.
After trying to contact web-guys (always spoke to Andrew) with changes I wanted, they were very helpful and more than happy to help. However when it came to carrying out the changes nothing ever happened. They are now not replying to any emails or messages.
They run a very small operation, maybe only 1 or 2 people. They are no a registered company, nor registered for VAT.
They do not have a office in Futures Park as their address states. I think it's just a virtual office for post.
Stay away from him/them, prices are low and you don't get anything in return. Too good to be true.
