In February I paid, using PayPal $349.00 to elevationmusic for a red drum set advertised on Ebay. I try to be reasonable about these things, so I allowed them 10 days for delivery. After I didn't receive the item, I contacted them via email. They were apologetic stating the drums I won on Ebay was not available in the color advertised (red) and would I accepted another. I told them I would take the Forest Green and that I wanted the drum set ASAP for my nephew who was in the hospital very sick with sickle cell anemia.
I explained to them that the only thing he cared about was playing drums and that I wanted to give him a new set because he was getting very depressed about being sick so much and we wanted to give him something to fight to get better for. They promised the gren would be shipped that day. Two weeks later when I returned from out of the country, the drums still had not arrived.
To make a long story short, I went back and forth with these people from February to May. I contacted Ebay and Paypal. I went through the mediaton process Ebay/PayPal recommends then I filed fraud reports with Ebay, Paypal and the IFCC. I even contacted the Kansas Cith Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with them as well.
This company is a master at ripping people off on Ebay. They know that you only have 30-days from the day of the purchase (transaction) to file a report with Ebay/PayPal and get refunded. The same for your credit card company. You must file within 30-days to either of the three to be refunded. Well they dragged it out until the 30-days was up by sending emails and telling me the drums were shipped.
Finally I purchased from another Ebay member and the drums arrived. I contacted elevationmusic and told them to please refund my money because after 4-months of trying to get the product from them, I finally got it from another Ebay user.
I've contacted them many times by phone and email. They do not return calls nor emails and they never refunded my money.
It's appalling that Ebay and Paypal would continue using these type people without letting shoppers know who they are.
