Over the last couple weeks I have been receiving phone calls that I did not answer at first and received voicemails from men with heavy accents with the name of Dan Rosem stating that it has been brought to their attention that legal action is going to be taken against my social security number and if I do not call back immediately then I will be in big legal mess at my home and at my work and I disregarded the first message and called back only after I received yet another one this time from a Simon Wilson stating that either myself or my attorney needs to respond immediately because if they do not get a response then my case will be processed within a few hours and the situation will then be out of their hands to be able to help me outside of court.
These men never once actually said as to what charges were being filed against me so at this point I had no idea as to what any of this was regarding. So after the second voicemail I was a little concerned and I decided to call back the number left in the message which was completely different from the number they called from. I reached Simon Wilson and found out that the reason for the call was to inform me that I was in default of paying back a loan and could pay three hundred dollars to them to settle and no legal action would be taken or if I chose not to pay the three hundred dollars then not only would I be responsible for up to thirteen thousand dollars in fines and legal fees but I would also be sent to civil court and needed to be at my hearing Monday morning in Jacksonville Florida and I live all the way across the country in Nevada.
After explaining I never got a pay day loan from them and asked when the loan was taken out and he said Maya and I said May what like May twenty fourth Or May sixteenth he said the twenty fourth so I looked at my bank statement and had no deposits from anyone let alone a bull crap pay day loan. Since then I've spoken with two other Simon Wilson who all say different things and I told them I did not want to settle so stop calling me I'll see you in court when I get documentation stating I've done something wrong and there's no reason for you to call me anymore and I hung up they then preceded to call me every five or ten mins for an hour and a half straight.
After that happened I called the police and told them I was being harassed but other than assuring me that I truly was in no legal trouble there's nothing they can do and just to ignore it or change my number. So with that being said I wish there was something to be done to punish these ass holes for being able to get away with this! Let me know if there is something that can be done and I'll do it!
