I received my phone bill today, and there was a charge for $41.20 for a call I didn't make. I called Integretel, and the guy was not very helpful. I informed him that we did not make this call. The call was made at 9:51 PM on a Thursday night. My husband had to be at work at ten so it was not him. I did not do it. He doubted me, and asked if I had friends over with laptops that could have done it. This was not possible since I have a 16 month old daughter and no one is over this late on a weeknight.
The guy on the phone kept asking what I wanted him to do, and I asked what he could do. He said he could block 900 numbers, but as the responsible party for the phone, I needed to pay the bill. I am not paying this bill. My phone statement says that not paying this bill will not affect my local or long distance service, so I am not paying it. I hope someone can help me figure out how to clear my name of this.
