My PayPal account was suddenly closed after someone hacked it. I was informed that I had a similar account connected to dhgate.com, which they considered highly suspicious. All I did on dhgate was buy something once, with no problem whatsoever.
PayPal was my way of paying for anything, and I used it regularly, never for anything illegal. Mostly I paid with it, and I rarely sold. Shopping on eBay is what I like best. Yet now they say I am very risky and they will not deal with me.
Explain to me how I count as risky. A single incident occurred in which my account was hacked, and now I am a risk? Reversing payments is all that was needed, and the sellers agreed to give refunds with no trouble. Getting hacked was not my fault (although they said that was not the reason for closing the account).
Both PayPal and eBay had in me a good customer, and that is my reward. Guess what: Amazon.com offers better customer service, and my account there has never been closed. I returned fewer items since what they shipped was good quality. Today Amazon resembles eBay, with everything available. Everyone who hates PayPal, please feel free to move to Amazon.com!
Paying by credit card is easy there, so PayPal is not needed. Brands from all over the world are sold, and items from China, Korea, Japan and India, among others, can be found on Amazon cheaper and with free shipping.
I am not affiliated with Amazon in any way. Their customer service has simply proved very reliable for me with returns and refunds. Of the hundreds of things I bought on Amazon, only two came back, unlike my eBay experience. eBay is full of cheats. Amazon will never scam you, whereas eBay and PayPal will. Don't waste your time on them.
