Thank you for contacting us regarding the Premium Support Program. Notifications of this new Support Program were sent by email to all Customer Administrators on March 28th and April 16th. We provided over 30 days notice to allow customers to explore alternatives prior to the program beginning May 1st. The Premium Support Program applies to all MailStreet Exchange accounts effective May 1. This is a cost to continue receiving MailStreet's reliable hosted Exchange service and 24x7 customer support.
We have worked very hard to keep prices consistent in the past, especially during the most difficult times in the recent recession, but the business environment has changed. The cost to continue providing service at the same high level has risen to the point where this fee is necessary.
I understand you are concerned about this new Program. However, this is now our corporate policy to ensure we continue to provide a premium service and is being applied to all customers - our Billing Department does not have the authority to eliminate or reduce the cost of the service.
As stated in your Terms and Conditions, we can make changes to your account at any time. This is not fraud. If you issue a chargeback, your account will be disabled immediately and there will be a $25 fee to reactivate your account.
