When a mistake is made, and one is notified of the mistake they have made, the least expectation is that the person will, at least, look up their mistake, not disclaim any ability to rectify their error.
Not so with CheckMate, a service which ambiguates persons with criminal records as inhabitants of home with persons whose entire family is devoid of any criminal record, which they did in the case of myself and my family, and when notified of the error, first a CSR and then her supervisor, disclaimed any responsibility, ability to even view the report, nor any capacity to change the obviously erroneous information, even when reminded of their civil liability when publishing such defamatory information.
I would be very wary of the information you get from this service, as they have said that even they have no control over it.
