Namecheap.com is a COMPLETE scam. I paid them over $300 for a year of hosting and other services. They flagged my account as potential fraud. I have never used the site before and I used my own credit card from inside my house. They asked me to send them a copy of my credit card front and back AND a copy of my DL or passport. Like an idiot I did it... Not I am out the $300, I have no site, and my credit card and DL is in the hands of god knows who in India or wherever else.
RUN the other way and dont use this scam site. I will only be using from now on. It cost more, but they dont steal your money.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
