Scope:
IMBUYGOLD is a website that provides in-game currency for a price. They will use what ever means to aquire the in-game currency and resell it for a fee. The site transacts using PAYPAL, VISA, MASTER, ETC and then has someone go live in-game and pass you the currency. I searched World of Warcraft GOLD farmer and "imbuygold.com" pops up as the first site. I went to the site and read through it and it looked legitament and so I bought $25.00 worth of gold.
Problem:
The site claims that "92%" of their customers received their order within 30 minutes. 2 hours went by and I didnt hear anything from the company other then the automated email they send when payment is accepted. On the website there is an option for live customer service. I hit the button, gave my order number and waited for a response. The first response left me puzzled. The customer service rep just says "Come back later, we have no gold"... After conversing with them, they said that they were farming my order of gold and to come back in 4 hours. 4 hours later I did the same thing and they told me to wait. 8 hours later I came back and they said to come back tomorrow because the employees were tired and needed a rest. The next day, now 24 hours, I went back to the site and hit for customer service. The attendant this time ignored me. I stopped that session and got to someone else who told me that the developer went out to get something to eat and that he was having a rest. I asked for my refund to which I was told, come back tomorrow, the supervisor was off for the day.
Resolution:
I will find out tomorrow if I get my refund. I fully anticipate them getting a hold of me online and giving me my order. At this point, I just want my money back. This site is a real RIPOFF.
