Table For Who is an online dining website that is designed to promote restaurants with online search engine traffic in their site & reservation services in their site. They claim they have the top advertising spot agreement with Google for 300 ad names in reference to food & dining & will be #1 listed for restaurants who sign up with them.
They allow people in all cities to purchase a territory to own & hire sales staffs to sell this online service to local restaurants in their territory.
At the end of April, I was sold a area territory by "Table For Who" to own & operate. I purchased the territory with detailed specific city/location & types of restaurants I wanted to market with "Table For Who" agreeing to these requirements.
As Owner, I spent all my time working on printing ad materials, setting meetings & interviews etc. Etc. I hired 3 employees, printed & paid for tons of ad materials & spent over 12 hours a day trying to get my territory up & running.
After two weeks of tons of work, I was contacted by Table For Who & told they had previously sold my territory to another person before me, I could not own it but would like to introduce me to him & move me to another territory.
I was devastated because I had spent all my time working to get my territory running to make income asap & now would have to start over. Also, the territories offered were not what I had specifically agreed to purchase due to knowledge of the territory.
I spoke with Scott Vaughn the CEO & Holly Spears the regional director regarding a new territory but after researching the one offered, I did not want to pursue it as it was not profitable as the other was.
The employees I had hired were also devastated as they had been working on getting appointments etc. & had come from other jobs as I had.
I requested a refund from "Table for Who" for the amount I spent on purchasing the territory & the CEO will not even contact me regarding refunding the amount for my broken contract. Not to mention, all the time & printing costs we all lost due to this fraud.
