Warning about enhance.com
I use several PPC search engines to promote affiliate sales. First off, let me start by saying my conversions with Enhance.com (formerly Ah-Ha.com) are terrible. Not on par with any other search engine. It causes one to wonder about the legitimacy of their traffic and program.
Whereas with other PPCs my lowest conversion is 298:1, with Enhance.com the same program is 4302:1!
So, needless to say I was not interested in continuing my efforts with Enhance.com as it was a royal waste of money for their pathetic traffic.
I figured I'd just let my account drain of the remaining balance and be happy that I won't have to deal with their worthless traffic (is it even real?).
My auto-replenish was set to $0.00 which meant that when my account balance ran out I could forget about the worthless-PPC network now known as Enhance.com. Or so it should have meant that...
But no — my credit card was charge 2x more for $50 for a total of $100. These charges were completely unauthorized by me.
I do a "live chat" with Enhance.com and they tell me they will look into the problem. Less than 5 minutes later I get an e-mail stating that the charges are valid and that auto replenish was not turned off until the charges could occur.
As luck would have it, they picked a bad time to outright lie. You see, on the date they claim this occurred — I was in-route to Chicago, IL and did not have access to my computer (or any) for a full week. Their claim that I did not turn-off auto replenish until after the charges is easily proven untrue.
In the end, they refuse to cooperate. So, I ask you to PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL when advertising with Enhance.com. Their traffic is USELESS, their staff LIES, and they will keep charging your credit card whenever they can... Thanks to my good credit card company they can look forward to a nice CHARGEBACK of the funds — but what a waste of time.
