I am listed as the administrative contact for several domain names that I own. On 01/15, I received an email notice making it look like one of my domain names is expiring and I need to renew my "Domain name search engine registration" by 01/16 for a whooping $75 for one year. You can submit your domain to most major search engines for free... So why anyone would pay this is beyond me. The message is a bit deceptive because it makes it look like your domain name registration is about to expire... When it isn't. They seem to like use various email addresses from hotmail.
