I received an unsolicited e-mail from Jay Servidio of Teleteria.com several months ago regarding adult website hosting services his company supplied. I replied that only a complete moron would buy into such an obvious scam and that I wasn't interested. Further, that I didn't welcome unsolicited e-mail and that I could get any adult material I wished for online for free because I knew how. I admit that I was rude but then hey, I am an unemployed telecom professional and I have been unemployed for some time. I spend much of my day searching for work online to submit resumes and was interrupted by a lame scam attempt. We insulted each other and threatened each other multiple times via e-mail however I bored quickly and let it go.
I thought it was over but I was wrong, it had only begun.
Then yesterday I received an email from Jay Servidio of Teleteriacasino.com via an unsolicited bulk email to multiple recipients (of which I was one of the recipients) advertising Online Casino hosting services. I thought I remembered his name and the company so I had it out with him again.
Next thing I knew I was into another full blown e-mail war with this so called professional who then had the audacity to pull in his pal John Hersam of Hersam Acorn-online of Ridgefield Connecticut. As John Hersam is the Advertising Director of the Hersam Acorn Newspapers I would guess that possibly these guys met though ads Jay Servidio places in the Hersam family's newspapers to lure in new prospects. John Hersam's main contributions during the day were to brag about the $650 steak dinners he and Jay share at the Old Homestead in Manhattan and make derogatory comments about blacks, talk about how Sicily was overrun by the Moors and the originally blonde haired blue eyed Italians became dark-eyed, dark-skinned because N s xxxx'd all the women. The other comments about rap music, a Lower East Side co-op and a Larry Fishburne type with permanent sunglasses I have no clue about. Frankly, I was appalled that any Director employed with a United States newspaper shared such obviously bigoted remarks, with a complete stranger - in print nonetheless. Obviously presentation isn't a required skill in advertising at Hersam Newspapers. Oh yeah, his last name is Hersam too.
Then John emails to Jay (and cc's me) that I should hang out with them and share an expensive steak dinner. Afterwards, if they liked me then I could pick up the tab but if not then they could push me around (a win-win situation for them as he put it?) John then went into bragging about his 2 acre spread in CT, 15K a month mortgage on a huge house, a Bentley, a Rolls, a Mercedes, a Ferrari and several other vehicles of which he can basically drive a new one everyday if he so desires.
John then claims to me that Jay is some kind of a black belt in some kind of martial arts and that he has seen him rough people up, beat up guys bigger than him, make people cry after one hit and stuff like that. I guess I was being intimidated but then after ranger school I really don't care.
I was amazed how these two guys with upper level positions of responsibility in two different companies can spare the luxury of time to have an e-mail war over several hours of the day with an unemployed telecom manager. I personally had nothing better to do, but then I am not being paid for my time.
Amazingly enough, the whole time Jay is still going on the hard sell route by continuously advising me to check out Teleteria's online Casino warez. And John even suggested that Jay should hook me up with a credit deal as I had told them I am unemployed and completely broke.
Towards the end, John admitted that the 15K a month house in CT isn't even his, it belongs to his girlfriend because he lost his house in his divorce. (This came out because I questioned a 15K mortgage payment equaling $180K a year. And with income taxes on just that amount equaling almost $240K, and taking for granted that he isn't spending more than half of his income on lodging that would put him in at least a 500K a year income bracket - not accounting for the claimed cars, insurance on cars and house, home upkeep, steak dinners @ $650 a pop, whatever attire costs he has and dating, etc. Etc.)
These guys seem to be having a great life. I have to question the source of at least Jay's income as there is an abundance of free pornographic material available on both the Internet and the USENET and on-line gambling hints of possible fraud in just mere reference. This is only speculation, but one would have to wonder if the cause of the drive of hard selling for Jay is the that John is (I guess) a rich kid sheltered by his family's fortune, doesn't have to worry about a future because he is employed by the Hersam Acorn newspapers, and when they hang out, how is Jay going to keep up with that? However, if Jay is also so blessed with affluent family ties, then why do these guys even bother with (1) such sordid products by Jay and (2) John's wasted work hours while under employment as an Advertising Director by his family's newspapers?
I guess it doesn't stink to be them.
Anyway, I am surmising that there is still an aggressive on-going marketing campaign by Teleteria for various internet services, including at least adult website hosting and on-line casino site hosting services. While I didn't get scammed myself I do feel that there is something strange going on at Teleteria and there is a possible link to Hersam newspapers, either being that John is a personal friend of Jay's or as a business relationship related to advertising Teleteria's services via Hersam's newspapers (which I am sure isn't a crime unless illicit activities are foreknown by both parties and then it, I guess, is a conspiracy to commit fraud?)
