I responded to a job offer on Craigslist.org and was accepted. After some exchanges which looked more and more suspect due to grammar & spelling errors, I realized that this must be a hoax.By then I had already accepted the position & the check was in the mail to get supplies for my in home office. The check arrived for $1250 with instructions for me to use $250 and wire the rest to an address in London (a shipping company supposedly) who would then forward the equipment I would need for the office work. I did not deposit the check and have it for future reference in case the authorities need it.
