I am pretty bummed for the fact that Hastings entertainment buys and sells new and used video game consoles but does not give there customers the option to buy extended service warranties on these products. I recently bought a pre-owned160 GB PlayStation 3 console back in March and was not able to pay more to protect it with a 1 year or 2 year warranty. The only protection I had was a 1 month defective warranty with my receipt. Now six months later the drive on the console is now broken and I'm stuck with a bulky paper weight. I also bought a brand new Xbox 360 from Hastings without the option to buy a service warranty.
Anywhere else you buy a video game console they offer a service warranty option. Most people don't buy the warranty but with the amount that I use systems and have already had defective systems I will never buy another new or used console from Hastings because technology is feeble and Hastings is not too concerned with the quality of there customers experience or the products that they carry.
