New bidders beware... Shill bidding used... False advertising of savings... Most auctions are reserved prices

There are a few power bidders who may or may not be affiliated with company who will outrageously bid against unsuspecting newbies. Euclidb, mustangvictor are a couple of bidders to avoid. Here are some examples of their auctions, 15769,15611,15585,15563,15546,15539,15518,15499,15488,15627,15565,15719. These bidders can't possibly be on the site 24/7.

These bidders will either jack up the price or if no outsider is bidding against them will let the auction close.

I have won several small auctions, but that's because I spent a ton of time watching to see if the power bidders were active and if they seemed to be bidding against me. I got burned by them on one auction... Where a $25 card was jacked up to well over $13.00 before I dropped out... Wonder what the price would have gone to if I stayed in...$60?

Also Bigger Bidder uses false advertising of their savings. 99% of all their gift cards require a "reserve" price. If an auction closes for under 50 cents, they will show the winner getting a 99% discount, when that is not true. Winning bidders are required to pay an extra amount often up to $23.00 to meet this "reserved price" if they want the item they fairly won.

Olive Garden cards do not require a reserve and these power bidders will jack up those prices rediculously, see auction # 15769. They always use the autobid feature and will often change their random id halfway through the auction - they either have multiple accounts or are working together.in this auction, 2 bidders were in an autobid war, (not sure if the number of stars is correct) c*w and f*w. Then the 2 names instantly changed to c*w (less # of stars) and e*d. E*d did not jump in the auction until it reached $27. (for a $25 gift card?) come on. The auction finally closed at $60 for a $25 card which meant that each of these 2 characters used up 6,000 bids (. 68 each)... Even if they bought their bids at 20 cents, well you do the math.

If you think you will win a $25 CVS card or any other reserve price gift card for under 50 cents, you are mistaken, because you will also have to pay the reserve price.

Website also claims to allow people to sell on their site, but it's been over a week, and their site is "closed for maintenance". Bigger bidder is the only vendor on this site.

A report has been filed with the Better Business Bureau.
