I have received nothing but rudeness from the staff of stories.com. A few months back I sent them numerous e-mails asking them to edit my work and they did not reply despite their claims on their site to address their customers concerns.
When I finally asked for help from the stories.com members (a good many months had already passed by then) they sent me a threatening message saying that if continued to complain my account would be closed. I did not press that matter.
Here is the current issue. And I am hoping to make as many people as I can aware of it. They can call it complaining if they like but they have truly crossed the line with this one.
On the afternoon of Thursday, November 30th I logged onto my stories.com account only to find that it had been deleted.
I sent them an email and then I sent another. They finally replied to me and I will post the email here for your perusal.
Your were deleted for: - failure to follow forum guidelines (I never broke any forum guidelines to my knowledge. If I did, it certainly would not have been intentional and most certainly did not merit my account being deleted.) -
Failure to follow forum content ratings (I NEVER, I repeat NEVER posted ANYTHING objectionable on stories.com) - failure to provide valid personal information as required by our terms and conditions. (I never provided fradulent information.) For violation of our terms & conditions as well as our site policies, you are no longer welcome on Stories.com.
It is very clear to me that staff of stories.com does not like me. They never address my concerns (remember it was months before that even addressed the former issue), and when they do finally respond it is always in a nasty, condesending tone.
The very least that they could have been was polite. Therefore... I would like to get this message out to as many people as I can. My writings were a great loss to me and I will not and cannot let this go.
