When I arrived at the check-in desk on day of travel I was told that I had a reservation but I do not have tickets

I purchased airline tickets through this site. It ended up out that it goes to a person who got my cash but attempted to pay for the airline via a stolen creditcard and therefore the cost was declined from the flight. After I reached the check in table on evening of journey I had been informed that I'd a reservation but I don't have seats and needed to purchase 3 fresh top dollar seats in the flight there after which.
