Todays date is 6-24, about 3 months ago my husband got a call stating he owed Yellow pages Express $750.00 for an ad they had been running on line for our business. They asked him for his credit card so they could take care of this matter. My husband told them he had never authorized this ad nor had he ever signed a contract with them. He blew it off as someone trying to scam money from our business.
On June 13th he brought a letter home from ACA Recovery. I called the number for Yellow Pages Express the next morning (by the way there is only an 1866 number NOTHING in the USA on their website) It was an answering service for Yellow Pages Express. The women had an accent that was hard to understand, when I told her I couldn't understand her she started yelling at me. Told me you Americans think you can say things like that I hate Americans. This rant went back and forth for about 20 minutes. I told her this was a bill that we were refusing to pay because we never authorized this ad with them. She went on and on and finally said she would write a letter to ACA stating they should remove us from their recovery business.
Called ACA they said they never received anything from her. SO the next day I called the number again and surprise, surprise it was the same women on the other line. I put her on speaker phone so my co-worker could hear her she was appalled. If this is the women behind this scam they will never get money from anyone.
I was told by ACA that they would have to submit our name to the credit bureau and this would most likely give us bad credit. Are you kidding me. LOOK OUT everyone these two companies are going hand and hand down the road to rip solid law abidding companies of their monies.
SHAME on both of you.
