A scam by any other name is still a scam or "rip-off". I wholeheartedly agree with all of the consumer reports on this site. I stopped short of giving my credit card # and did some research. The first red flag for anyone should be the fact that the service requires a "bidder" to lose money and not get any return from the item. No real auction site would force someone to lose money. I will definitely try to get the word out about this company without a conscience.
Notice the company only rebutted the first report. That's because they can't disavow the truth and not get sued.
Question for the employee of Quibids who posted the lone rebuttal over a year ago; Jill I think her name was;
Jill, would you recommend this site to a relative with little money (or not) who is elderly or is not savvy about tactics such as this? I think your username was "j4me". That about sums up the mindset of someone like this. No regard for others; They are simply "4" themselves! They're all just suckers to you right?
