We found Vandi Group on Craigslist, and had many conversations about the needs we required, including website and admin system. Joe talked a good game, we met in person at our office and we felt very comfortable with him and all of his internet marketing knowledge. We signed and agreement with him, gave him a substantial deposit and then we tried contacting him to get the ball rolling on our project. Voicemail full-email bounced back and his internet site was down for a couple days. Finally he returned a call, and we decided that we needed to work with someone more responsible, as when things start bad they usually get worse.
We requested a refund of our deposit. He said he had already done some work over a weekend and he would calculate his time, then provide us with a report, his costs and balance due. This never happened. We have left messages, sent emails and now will pursue legal action and contact the DA's office in San Diego as this appears to be a consistent pattern based upon the other complaints filed here.
Stay away from this smooth talking rip off artist!
