Web Tech Strategies
America's Web Mall SCAM

I first received a phone call from a gentleman promoting Americas Web Mall in June. After a long conversation I was told that for the low cost of $450 I would be the owner of an online business that generated income when consumers made purchases from the website. I was told that I would have input in website design and that the company worked with several successful companies including Walmart, Target, etc. I also was told that they had a 97% retention rate of clients and that 98% percent of clients generated additional income monthly. Having just bought a new house, I figured the risk was low enough for a possible reward. Shortly after making the purchase I was contacted by a gentleman named Rob from Web Tech Strategies. Rob said my investment in Americas Web Mall was basically worthless and that I would need internet traffic to generate monthly income. Rob offered packages that ranged from $7,500 to $15,000 to get visitors to my website. After a long debate, Rob gave me a one time deal for $4,000. This would ensure internet traffic for users searching for products specifically listed on my website for a period of four months. This also included an overhaul of the website and backdoor access to track visitors. He projected between $2,000-$3,000 monthly income!

Later I was contacted by a gentleman named Tom. He spoke to me about adding Google advertising to my website. Basically you would receive compensation if someone clicked on the Google advertisement on my website. This would generate an additional $1,000 to $ 2,000 a month in income. Tom sold it very well and said he would rush it to processing so I could begin receiving checks from Google. They even asked me what color I wanted my checks to be. What a deal. I invested an additional $3,000 making my total investment above $7,000. But I was soon to receive quarterly checks from Web Tech Strategies that could be as high as $3,000 a month and monthly checks of possibly $1,000-$2,000 from Google. This was at the end of August.

I counted the days until I was sure a quarter had passed. I called and requested to speak with Rob. He would no longer speak to me. Tom would however take my calls and kept telling me the Google paperwork was being held up. Oddly, I did receive a call from Rob again. He was trying to get me to invest more money into Web Tech Strategies to turn my website into my personal ATM. When I told him I would not invest anymore money until I saw at least a small return on my investment, he became irritated and now refuses to take any of my calls. Tom is also now unavailable when I call, unless I use a different name when the secretary answers. Then surprisingly Tom is working and will take the call. But if I use my real name he is not there. Throughout these conversations my projections have dropped significantly through each conversation. I also have been told I will no longer make any income because my internet traffic has run out since I refused to invest more money. Although I paid for search engine presence, which they told me meant I no longer had to invest for Internet traffic.

It is now January 5 and I have not received a dime. I have been with the company through two quarters and half a year of being invested in this company should have given me returns on my investment. Also, I still have not received anything from Google. I received a Google pin months ago and have called Web Tech Strategies several times to give Tom the pin information and all he says is that he is backed up on the Google pins. I invested in Google half a year ago and was supposed to receive monthly checks. Again, all I have received is excuses from Tom and Rob and not a single dime in return.

This company is misleading. These people blatantly lie to consumers. They make up numbers to get you to invest. They do nothing but set up a faulty website and claim people visit it. My website even had dead links. As a consumer I was completely mislead. I wish I was smarter. I should have known better. It is nothing but a complete scam. Please DO NOT believe these people. Please shut this company down. All I want is my money back, but I know they have worded their contracts so this will never happen. I just find it hard to believe that this company can get away with taking money and then ignoring those that just invested in them. It is immoral and something needs to be done to stop this company.
