AT&T has by far the worst customer service system I have ever seen. I have had to call 4 or 5 times for different reasons and none of them have gone smoothly. First you have to find the correct phone number out of about half a dozen to choose from. When you think you have the correct number a computer voice comes on to play 20 questions to help better direct your call. They then transfer you to another computer which plays 20 questions with you again, (many of which are the same question or worded differently) just to find out that they have to transfer you again to yet another game of 20 questions. Several transfers later you will finally talk to a customer service representative who will always be the wrong one for the problem you are dealing with. They will then procede to transfer you again to another computer asking the same 20 question that you have already answered 5 or 6 times just to get you to another customer service rep who again cannot help you. You then ask them not to transfer you to a computer but to a real person, what this means is that they will go through the 20 questions for you to get themselves connected to the wrong person. This will go on for another half hour before they finally do what they think might help the situation and if they do this correctly you wont have to call back and do this again in a few days. It is nearly impossible to talk to a real person with out at least 10 minutes of computer 20 questions which isn't nearly as fun as it sounds. Why not have one phone number and a system that can transfer you to the correct location. If the computer can't understand what you are looking for than find a real person who can. I would never use this company if I didn't have a one year contract. I'm counting the days.
